Rules, Rates & Policy Updates
We monitor tax limits, financial rules, policy updates, market rates, and product changes that may affect
your roadmap. The engine reads from a versioned fact_records store. Each entry is fetched from an
authoritative source, reviewed by an agent, regression-tested, and only then published. This is educational
tracking, not comprehensive legal monitoring or legal advice.
Update pipeline
- Detect a change at the source (IRS notices, revenue procedures, Treasury regulations, SEC / CFPB guidance, Federal Reserve rate data, FDIC/NCUA updates, or curated product data).
- Capture the new value and create a versioned, "pending" record.
- Identify rules that depend on the value via
factDeps. - Run the rule QA agent against ten reference households; record pass/fail.
- Run the compliance agent for risky-language regression.
- Admin approves; the change is published with an effective date.
- Affected users see the new recommendation on their next dashboard load.
FAQ
- What does the engine track?
- Tax limits and bracket adjustments, IRS notices and revenue procedures, Treasury regulations, SEC and CFPB guidance, Federal Reserve rate data, FDIC/NCUA updates, and financial product/rate changes. We focus on items that may affect your roadmap; we do not provide comprehensive legal monitoring or legal advice.
- Where do the values come from?
- Authoritative sources: IRS, Treasury, Federal Reserve, FDIC/NCUA, SEC/CFPB publications, and curated benchmarks. Every fact carries its source URL, fetched date, and confidence level.
- Do updates go live automatically?
- No. The Regulatory & Policy Agent proposes changes. A QA agent re-runs the engine against fixture households. A compliance agent reviews wording. Only then is a change published.
